The dishwasher has not drained or the no water (switch open) status is not detected 3 minutes after the drain pump starts.
The drain pump is drawing more power than it should after 3 drain attempts.
Samsung Dishwasher 5E Error Code Possible Causes
- The drain pump is defective.
- The ECS sensor (thermistor) is defective.
- The drain pump is clogged.
- The drain hose is clogged.
- The drain pump is not connected to the wire harness.
- The main PCB is defective
- There is no feedback from the ESC to the PCB.
- The inverter PCB is out of order if 5C1 to 5C5 error codes have also occurred.
